My artwork is a portrait of a dreamlike reality where storytelling, as visual poetry, is a means to identify with de-contextualized social symbols and a re-consideration of the miraculous. Incredible interactions of unlikely elements as a departure from reality are unfolding in real time from the ordinary world to the technological and ontological paradigm shift. The individual, now hard-wired, is re-defined through passion, perversion and a new attitude towards content. The imagery is evocative of a breakdown of the societal and structural rigidity of the psyche. Because of this, reality is in question, as the mundane has become a spectacle. These are critical moments in dream time; perhaps a parallel universe, where the threads of consciousness; the collective subconscious mind, is received.

Sikora has been finding artistic expression as a tool for growth and self-examination since his early childhood and has pursued his artistic calling with fervor. Intense research, travel, exploration, and inquiry have guided his pursuits with vigor. He has exhibited both locally, nationally, and internationally for over fifteen years. His work hangs in collections on throughout the United States and on at least four different continents.
